The Youth Center is designed to reach teens on God’s gospel terms yet
on their turf. We teach them about Jesus and God’s story of redemption
and salvation. We invest time and energy into the lives of the young people
whom God has brought to us here at Community Church. Why? It’s simple.
We love youth, and we want both the teens of our church community and our Gloucester
community to know the God of the gospel – Jesus Christ – and to have
a saving relationship with him by his grace.
The Youth Center team has opportunities to reach, teach and invest in the lives
of teens through our weekly meetings, group events/special trips and service
projects. Our weekly meetings focus on building relationships with our teens
and providing opportunity for them to encounter Jesus through God’s Word.
We also provide arenas for building relationships and encountering Jesus through
group events/trips such as SoulFest, SnowCamp, Word of Life Superbowl, and Catacombs.
We have also had the chance to serve the community of Gloucester at the Open
Door Food Pantry.
