Easter and Holy Week Schedule - 2024
PALM SUNDAY – March 24
Join us for our regular Sunday morning service at 10:00 am. Nursery care will be provided during the worship service, and children in preschool through 5th grade will be dismissed from the service to their Sunday School classes just before the sermon begins.
MAUNDY THURSDAY – March 28
We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall from 6:00 – 7:30 pm to celebrate & remember Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples. We celebrate this event by sharing a potluck-style meal together and partaking in the bread and cup of communion. If you would like to contribute food for the meal or signup for childcare, signup below:
GOOD FRIDAY – March 29
All are welcome to gather at 6:30 pm as we darken the sanctuary for a reflective service on Good Friday. This will be a time of prayer and worship as we remember Christ’s atoning death on the cross. Childcare is NOT provided during this service.
EASTER SUNDAY – March 31
Sunrise Service – Celebrate our risen Lord along with Gloucester Assembly of God as we worship together at Bass Rocks. We will meet at 6:10 am across the street from the Gloucester Elk’s on Atlantic Avenue.
*In the event of rain, we will host this gathering at Community Church.
Pancake Breakfast – All are invited to meet in the Fellowship Hall anytime after 7:00 am for a pancake breakfast! Bring your favorite toppings if you wish; Gluten free/dairy free pancakes will also be available.
Easter Worship Service – Join us at 10:00 am for the worship services as we celebrate our risen Lord! Our nursery will be available for infants and toddlers, and children from Preschool—5th grade will be dismissed from the service to their Sunday School classes before the sermon begins.
