We continue to praise God for His faithfulness and provision for Community Church.  He has provided an amazing staff and volunteers to serve all of us who call Community Church our home.  As the Leadership Team has worked through the latest season of transition we have been looking at how we serve our community on Sunday mornings and what we might be able to add to better provide ways for the congregation to be “equipped” and to “exalt” our Lord and Savior…

The Men's Ministry is hosting our August gathering on Saturday, August 18th at 8am. This month we will be hosting a Men's Breakfast. We will have plenty of food and coffee, as well as an opportunity to meet and hear from one another…

Sunday nights at the beach are happening this summer!  On Sundays, between 5-7pm, we'll gather near the footbridge at Good Harbor Beach with anyone who wants to come for a fun, laidback chance to enjoy this beautiful place in which we live while sharing the gift of one another's company…

This Sunday is VBS Sunday, when we invite all of our kids and VBS families to join us as we share some of the highlights from the VBS week and worship our GOOD God together!  The sanctuary will look a little different than usual, and the kids will be participating with us in the service…

This past Sunday, June 24, we had the chance to install Jake Brooks as our new Associate Pastor of Discipleship.  It has been a number of years that we have spent seeking to fill this role, and the Lord is faithful!  Jake, together with his wife Leah and his daughters Ella and Amelia, now step into this new role here in our church family!  We had a chance to commission Jake on Sunday, and to lay hands on and pray over the entire Brooks family as we formally welcomed them as a church.  We are so excited for this next season of what God is doing at Community Church!  Please take the opportunity to welcome them when you have the chance.

This year's Vacation Bible School (VBS) is taking the children on Expedition Norway where they will learn that God is not only good is so many situations, but God is the Good News!  From July 9 - 13, 9a,m to noon, travelers will play games, create colorful crafts and enjoy snacks. But more importantly, they will discover the rich treasure of God’s love through the life of Jesus.

As we step into the new rhythms of summer we are excited to once again gather as a church family for our summer picnics every month. Beginning June 24th with our first picnic, we will gather on the front lawn after the worship service to eat, fellowship, and play together.
